Indiana High School Boys and Girls Soccer Tournaments Set for 20th Year.
A field of 299 boys teams, a record for the 20th consecutive year, and 258 girls teams are entered as pairings for the 20th Annual IHSAA Soccer State Tournaments were announced this morning by the Indiana High School Athletic Association.
The girls sectionals – 32 in Class 2A and 16 in Class A – will also run Oct. 7-12. Regionals will be played Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 19 with Class 2A matches in a two-round, Wednesday-Saturday format. The Class A contests differ as a one-match affair played that Saturday. Semi-states in both classes will be played Saturday, Oct. 26 in a two-round format with the winners advancing to the two state championship matches on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Admission: $6 per session or $9 all sessions.

Tuesday (10-8): Batesville vs. East Central. 6 PM.
Thursday (10-10): Madison vs. Jennings County. 5 PM.
South Dearborn vs. Winner of Game 1. Following.
Saturday (10-12): Championship. 6 PM.
Sectional 25 at Rushville.
Game 1: Richmond vs. Connersville.
Game 2: Franklin County vs. New Castle.
Game 3: Rushville vs. Winner of Game 1.
Championship: Winner of Game 2 vs. Winner of Game 3.
Class A
Sectional 45 at Lawrenceburg.
Game 1: Switzerland County vs. Lawrenceburg.
Game 2: Rising Sun vs. South Ripley.
Game 3: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2.
Game 4: Oldenburg Academy vs. Southwestern (Hanover).
Championship: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4.
Sectional 41 at Centerville.
Game 1: Triton Central vs. Greensburg.
Game 2: Centerville vs. Morristown.
Game 3: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2.
Game 4: Union County vs. Knightstown.
Championship: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4.
