img219Gary W. Watts, 75,  of Lawrenceburg, IN. passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014.

He was born Saturday, November 26, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Son of the late Harry Watts Jr. and the late Mary Agnes Schipper Watts.

Gary served his Country as a member of the United States Navy.  He was the director of the US Navy Band, and enjoyed playing the Clarinet. Gary worked in Data Processing  for over 30 years for IBM and variance other large corporations..  He was a member of American Legion of Lawrenceburg,  Gary enjoyed running the Lawrenceburg Library Book Sale for many years.  He was an avid book and stamp collector.  He also enjoyed being involved with the community theater in Miami, New York and Massachusetts, even appearing as an extra in a couple movies.

Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Daisy Watts of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; daughter, Deborah Ann Watts Grover and son in law, Stephen Grover of Webster, MA;  Grandchildren, Heather Grover of Plainville, CT and Jonathan Grover of Plainfield, CT.

Friends will be received 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana .  Military graveside services will be conducted by members of local Veterans Service Organizations.

Contributions may be made to the Friends of the Lawrenceburg Library.  Please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.
