OLDENBURG, Ind. – The public is invited to attend a forestry field day at Michaela Farm on October 15 from 9 a.m. to noon.
A walkthrough of the farm’s woodlands will be conducted and representatives from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources will discuss management practices, highlight points of interest along the way and answer questions.
Other topics will be timber stand improvement, invasive plant control and wildlife habitat.
