Eugene R. Bauman age 78 of Zephyrhills, FL , passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at Gulf Side Hospice also located in Zephyrhills.  He & his wife Helen also have a home in Osgood, IN . Eugene was born January 15, 1936 in Versailles, IN . His parents were Raymond & Anna Schwagmeier Bauman.  He married Helen B. Miller December 29, 1956 .

Eugene had worked for Pitney Bowes of Lafayette, Indiana as a service representative from 1959 to 1991. 
He & his wife Helen belonged to the Good Sam’s Camping Club which involved camping with other members in various places throughout the United States. He was an avid & skillful woodcarver having taught the art & also belonged to the Waters Edge Woodcarvers Club in Zephyrhills, Florida. Another past   hobby he enjoyed was being a Ham Radio Operator & with this, had belonged to the Lafayette & Indianapolis, Indiana Clubs. Working on the family farm in Versailles, Indiana was also an important part of his life. He dearly loved his family & will be so sadly missed by all !

Daniel (Susan) Bauman of Valparaiso, Indiana

Matthew, Sarah, Joshua & Tyler Bauman.
 
Great Grandchild: Adalyn Prather

All in one day/ Saturday, February 15, 2014/ Neal’s Funeral Home.
Visitation:  12:00 Noon – 2:00 pm
Funeral:       2:00 pm
 
Burial:  Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles, IN
 
Memorials: Cliff Hill Cemetery or Gulf Side Hospice c/o the funeral home.
