Eugene ‘Forrest’ Davis

GeneDavisEugene “Forrest” Davis, 80, of Sunman, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014

at the Waters of Batesville.

Born November 19, 1933 in Breathitt County, Kentucky he was the son of Edward Carl Davis

and Anna Mae Craft Davis. He married Doris L. LaFollette and she preceded him in death on July 1, 2006.

Together they owned and operated the B&G Dairy Bar in Sunman and later he owned the Sunman

Package Store. Gene loved animals and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Those surviving to honor his memory include his son and daughter-in-law – Barth and Karen Davis

of Sunman and Granddaughters – Caroline Ann Davis and Mary Rebecca Davis. He was preceded in

death by his parents and his wife.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 1:30 to 2:15 PM at Cook Rosenberger Funeral

Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman with the funeral following and starting at 2:15 PM. Burial will follow

in the St. Paul Cemetery , Sunman, Indiana.

Family request that memorial donations be given to the Sunman Life Squad or to any organization

Menu: Alaskan fish- hand breaded, coleslaw, green beans and scalloped potatoes, homemade pie/ cake and limited supply ice cream, lemonade, coffee, tea.
