Esther M. Lows Washnock 88, of Milan, Indiana passed away Tuesday September 13, 2016 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville. Esther was born Thursday October 27, 1927 in Aurora, Indiana the daughter of Edward and Lulu (Cosby) Baer. She married Calvin Lows April 24, 1948 and he preceded her in death December 5, 1996.
Esther was a member of Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed working on the farm, mowing grass, canning, camping and dancing, but her big passion was her church and her family.
Esther is survived by sons: Marvin Lows and Alvin Dale Lows; Daughters: Beverly Seevers and Susan Skirvin. Sister: Barbara Johnson; 4 Grandchildren, many Great- Grandchildren and several Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Graveside service will be Thursday September 15, 2016; 12PM at Hogan Hill Cemetery 13298 North Hogan Road Aurora, IN 47001 with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Memorials may be made to Ripley Crossing or Hope Baptist Church. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan entrusted with arrangements.
