Eastern Washington stuns Hoosiers in first loss of season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana lost for the first time this season in a barnburner against Eastern Washington 88-86 Monday night.

The Hoosiers regained the lead 78-75 with 2:12 remaining in regulation but was unable to hold off a late rally by the Eagles.

IU was led in scoring by Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell with 27 points and sophomore Troy Williams with 19.

Hoosiers fall to 4-1 on the season and look to rebound against UNC-Greensboro at Assembly Hall Friday night.
