Did You Know?

May 12, 2014

Did you know that Todd Frazier of the Cincinnati Reds has an older brother who is also a baseball player?  His name is Jeff Frazier, and he has had a couple minor stints in the big leagues.  He was originally drafted by Detroit as an outfielder.  He has been with the Seattle Mariners and the Washington Nationals.  He played minor league baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization and is now a free agent.

Both of the Frasier brothers come from Toms River, New Jersey.  They both gained fame in Little League.  Both Fraziers were known by the baseball world because of their fabulous appearance in the Little League World Series.  Like most Little Leaguers, Todd pitched as well as played in the field.  Most people knew his future was going to be hitting.  At this point in time, he leads the Reds in runs batted in.
