Clement Wolfe, age 84, of Laurel, Indiana died Friday, March 7, 2014 at his residence.
Born July 4, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio he was the son of the late Raleigh & Sophia (Cook) Wolfe. On July 3, 1950 he was united in marriage to the former Mary Rose Cowan, and she survives.
He was a Member of Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Wolfe was retired from Roots Blower Division in Connersville, Indiana where he had worked for many years.
Besides Mary Rose, his wife of over 63 years, survivors include two daughters, Mary Beth Hacker of Alabama, Tamela Rose Smith of Laurel, Indiana; two sons, James Michael Wolfe of Laurel, Indiana and Robert Daniel Wolfe of Alabama; two sisters, Rena Crain of Greensburg, Indinaa and Jean Combs of Rushville, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, as well as 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, and one brother.
Pastor Rob Edwards & Brother James Hundley will officiate the Funeral Services on Monday, March 10, 2014, 1:30 P.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Rush County, Indiana.
Family & friends may visit from 10:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville.

The Annual 21st Crackaway Daze Festival will be held on September 20 – 21 at the Saltcreek Township Park in New Point, Indiana (located 8 miles east of Greensburg or 6 miles west of Batesville on Hwy 46 or south 850 just off of I-74 Exit 143. Park is on left along Hwy 46). Parade at 11:00 am on Saturday. Flea market in the park (contact Rosa at 812-593-7611 or email at rosa@etczone.com). Great food for both days (roast plus more on Saturday). Our famous fried chicken with all the trimmings on Sunday, served by the New Point Kiwanis Club. Homemade ice cream by Smyrna Church. Fun for the kids and adults (bed race, antique cars and trucks and farm equipment, kettle bean soup). Entertainment, drawings (50/50 pot), hot dog stand, snow cones and much more!
