Cindy Miller, 58 of Milan passed away Friday February 14, 2014 at her residence. Cindy was born Saturday February 4, 1956 in Gas City, Indiana the daughter of Charles Dean and Ida Mae (Sikkema) Jones.  She married Glen F. Miller December 31, 1981 and he survives.  Other survivors include sons Matthew Miller of Decatur, Alan Miller of Muncie, daughter Rachel Miller of Newburgh, brother Steve Jones of Indianapolis, sisters Deana Bowlds and Toni Keevil both of Indianapolis, Terri Barker and Debbie Dresselhaus both of Holton, and Jenni Raake of Cincinnati.  She was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Gilliland. 

 Cindy graduated from Marion High School in 1974 and Cincinnati Technical College receiving her RN degree.  She had worked at the North Vernon Nursing Home, Waters at Dillsboro, Silver Bell, and the ICU Dept. at Winona Hospital in Indianapolis.  She recently had worked for Advantage Home Health Care.  She loved rocks and fossils, her animals, and family time. 

Services for Cindy will be Saturday February 22, 2014, 3PM at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan.  Visitation will also be Saturday 1-3PM at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to Dearborn County Hospice.  Go to www.lawscarrmoore.com to make on line condolences.   Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. Macy’s will partner with Dearborn Highlands Arts Council to invite customers to participate in Macy’s 10th annual national “Shop for a Cause” charity shopping event on Saturday, August 29. Customers can purchase shopping passes for $5 each from the council now. Each pass saves 25% all day on regular, sale, and clearance items and 10% on electronics, watches, furniture, and more. Macy’s has provided the council with shopping passes to sell for $5 each and the council will keep 100% of every shopping pass it sells. Some exclusions apply on discounts obtained with the passes. The Delaware United Methodist Church will be hosting their 77th Annual Homecoming on Sunday, August 30 with church services at 8:30 am and Sunday School at 9:30 am. The program will be held at the Township Building. Pitch-in dinner and social time will be from 12:00 – 1:30 pm. Program will begin at 1:30 pm. Tommy Beatley, Pastor, will reside.
