Child Airlifted After Near-Drowning In Franklin County *Update*

We’re learning new details about the apparent near-drowning on Stateline Road Saturday night.

A 3 year old boy riding a power wheels and drove into a pond on Stateline Road and Hillman Road, police said. A juvenile operating a four wheeler noticed the submerged power wheels and went to help.

Rescuers on the scene were able to revive the boy. He was the airlifted to University of Cincinnati Hospital.

The incident is still under investigation.

FRANKLIN COUNTY– A young child was flown to a Cincinnati hospital after a near-drowning incident, police said.

It occurred on State Line Road around 6:00 p.m. Saturday night.

The child was reportedly underwater for nearly two minutes before being rescued.

The child was flown to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati for treatment and is expected to be OK, sources said.

The identity and gender of the child was not immediately released.
