Charles “Charlie” H. Sizemore, 82, of Holton passed away at 3:45am Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born at the Barboursville, Kentucky on July 18, 1933 the son of Hansford and Beatrice Grills Sizemore. He was married to Grace Elston on November 11th, 1993 in Carrollton, Kentucky and she survives. Other survivors include four sons; Greg of Osgood, Robert (Billi) of Versailles, Randy (Lisa) of Holton and Edward of Holton, step-son; Michael parsons of Delphi, IN and step-daughter; Shannon Feldcamp of Holton, 20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, two sisters; Margaret English of Holton and Ruth Taylor of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Marvin, Leroy, Kenny, Carl and three infant siblings. Charlie retired from Indiana State Highway Garage after 15 years. He had many loves other than his family, He truly enjoyed bowling, fishing, Nascar and especially the Reds and Bengals. Mr. Sizemore was an Army Veteran, who was stationed in Germany from 1954 to 1956. Funeral services for Charlie will be on Thursday, July 21st, at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Jim Wingate officiating. Burial will be in the Little Memory Cemetery north of Milan. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20th from 5pm to 7pm. Memorials may be given to the Versailles American Legion in care of the funeral home.
