Melissa Tucker, Executive Director of the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, has announced that the Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

The cost of the dinner is $35 per person, payable in advance, and is open to the public.

The Chamber’s Annual “Oscar Night” is to celebrate our business community, award winners and board recognition. The dress will be business casual.

The Distinguished Service Award (Jane Yorn), Distinguished Educator (Linda Ortman), Distinguished Community Volunteer (Carolyn Dieckmann) and the Distinguished Organization (Project T3) will all be honored that evening. There will also be a special recognition for Ivy Tech Chancellor Jim Helms.

Tickets sell out quick, according to Tucker. For additional information, call the Chamber office at 934-3101 or check out our website at www.batesvillein.com.
