East Central Announces First Sports Hall Of Fame Class

ECEast Central High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame has named its inaugural induction class.

EAST CENTRAL INAUGURAL SPORTS HALL OF FAME

Thirteen charter members of the EC Hall of Fame – which includes former corporation schools North Dearborn and Sunman, as well as Bright and Guilford include coaches, contributors and athletes to be honored.

Congratulations to Rod Ballart, Dee Ann Harmon, Bill Frondorf, Mark Parris, Andrew Wolf, Ray and Sue House, Vince McCann and Ashley Wilhelm Andres as well as former North Dearborn honorees will be Ted Ahaus, Jim Lyttle and Don Lipps, along with former Bright High School standout Loyd G. Smith.

The induction ceremonies will be taking place on Friday (11-21) in the high school cafeteria.

The Hogan Creek Watershed Project, along with the Dearborn and Ripley County Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) will be providing an educational opportunity for producers with grazing livestock.  The field day will be held on Friday, August 22nd at Jeff and Leah Meinders’s Farm, 3687 W. Co.
