Help remember those that fought for our freedom. Stop by the Quilter’s Nook at 82 Hill Street in Versailles on Saturday, May 23 or Sunday, May 24 and pick up a free rose. Take it to your local cemetery and place it on the grave of a veteran. There are only 250 roses available, so please get there early. We want to make sure that all veterans are remembered this Memorial Day. By participating, an additional 150 roses are being sent to the Arlington National Cemetery. Thank you for participating in this wonderful event. Quilter’s Nook will have roses available on Saturday, May 23 from 9 am – 6 pm and Sunday, May 24 from 12 pm – 4 pm.

The 4-H Junior Leaders will be having a Color Me Green Run from 3 pm – 4 pm on Saturday, May 23 at the Ripley County Fairgrounds in Osgood. The cost of entry is 4 canned goods to go to local food pantries. The first 50 will get shirts and sunglasses. Come for a great day of fun and support this good cause!
