The Lady Cardinals captured their 3rd win by defeating the South Dearborn. 25-12, 25-11.
We could not have achieved our win without the superb serving from the girls. Elizabeth Gigrich served for 16 points which included 11 aces. Leila Savage served up 7 point with aces followed by Faith Tekulve with 4 points, Isabel Rennekamp and Regina Gerstbauer with 2 points finishing with Lily Wonnell and Olivia Geers with 1 point each. Our offense came from Leila spiking 2 at the net and Elizabeth and Isabel with one tip each. The win would not have been complete without Chelsea Robertson defense in the back row.
STL 8th Graders won in 3. 21-25, 25-16, 15-3.
Top servers were: Harlee Masavage, 15/16, 12 pts, 10 aces. She served 9 consecutive points to win the 3rd game. Phoebe Kroen also contributed 8pts, 7 aces. Regina Gerstbauer also added 8 pts & 4 aces.
