The Saint Louis 7th Grade Cardinals Basketball Team defeated South Dearborn Tuesday, Dec. 17 by the score of 29-12.
The Cardinals were led in scoring by Robert Raver and Alex Geers. Gus Kellerman led the Cardinals in rebounds.The Cardinals got off to a quick start and a big lead. Charlie Prickel, Aidan Hornbach, and Ryan LaLoge made contributions and played significant minutes in the victory.Submitted by STL Coach Dale Amrhein.
The St. Louis 8th grade boys basketball team broke into the win column in a big way Tuesday night with a 48-14 win over South Dearborn’s Blue team.
The Cardinals jumped out to an early 10-3 lead, playing good defense and forcing many South Dearborn turnovers. The lead increased to 26-8 by halftime.
Stuart Lamping and Chandler Meyers paced the Cardinals with 13 points each. Jack Kellerman added 8 points and Kyle Siefert scored 6 points. Gavin Koester and Baird Tuveson contributed solid defensive play.
St. Louis plays their final game before Christmas break on Thursday at South Ripley.
