Burglary Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Three

Three Greensburg residents are facing charges after a search of a home resulted in the discovery of marijuana, methamphetamines and a sawed-off shotgun.

Greensburg Police received a report of a residential burglary in which a firearm was stolen. During the investigation, police learned that an alleged suspect lived on Anderson Street in Greensburg and may have been participating in illegal drug use at the same residence.

A search warrant was conducted during the early morning hours of Wed., Nov. 27.

“Evidence located inside the home was a quantity of marijuana and methamphetamines,” reported Greensburg Police Chief Stacey Chasteen. “Also were numerous smoking devices and other drug paraphernalia used to snort methamphetamines and crush pills.”

According to police, 24-year-old Michael Pittman was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Dealing in sawed-off shotgun and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

23-year-old Justin Tucker and 21-year-old Julia McKee are also facing preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
