Batesville hosted an Invitational at Cricket Ridge on Saturday. Even though the weather was awful, the BMS golf team was awesome! They won the tournament by one point! Batesville’s 1st team scored 195 to the Greensburg Boys 196, Franklin County 233, Benjamin Rush 235, St. Louis 251, Greensburg Girls 251, and Batesville’s 2nd Team 253.
Batesville’s one medal winner was Sam Bowman as the all-around lowest scorer for the day shooting a 43! Other team scores were Chase Cummings 48, Drew Wagner 50, Joe Cerniglia 54, Dean Campbell 54, Brett Wagner 55, Austin Pohlman 59, Kyler Daulton 65, Zach Wade 65, Courtney Chambers 66, and Sarah Ronnebaum 68.
It was a great way to end a successful season by winning the last tournament. Congratulations to the BMS Golf team for bringing the school a winning season with five overall 1st place wins, two 2nd place finishes, and one 5th place.
