Bulldogs Top Cougars In Middle School Hoops

basketballAfter back to back tough losses to start the season, the Batesville Middle School 7th Graders picked up their first win of the season against South Decatur. The Bulldogs defeated the Cougars by a score of 45 to 19.

Batesville was able to come together as a team and bounce back for a big win after a disappointing start to the season. The Bulldogs were led in scoring tonight by RJ Powell who poured in 14 points. Other scorers for Batesville included Damon Grieshop with 7 points, Pros Moorman with 5, Bristol Davies and Austin Cornn with 4 points each, Matthew Meyer with 3, Mason Barker, Jaden Peetz and Ethan Brewer with 2 a piece and Nathan Villani with 1 point.

The 7th Grade team now has a 1-2 record on the year. The Bulldogs will be back in action on Monday night when the take on the Brookville Greyhounds at Batesville Middle School.
