The 7th grade Bulldogs lost at the Greendale Bengals 22 – 6 on Tuesday night.
Brayden Linkel had an interception for the defense. Jacob Cruse and Drew Kiefer also had good games on that side of the ball. Batesville’s touchdown came on a 41 yard TD pass from Seth Gausman to Ethan Baumer. Hank Nobbe, JT Linkel, and Owen Hudepohl led the offensive line.
The Batesville Middle School 8th grade football team traveled to Lawrenceburg High School on Tuesday night and defeated Greendale Middle School 36-0.
Scoring either touchdowns or extra points for the Bulldogs were Lane Oesterling, Trey Heidlage, Stephanie Nobbe, Devin Scripture, Danny Aylor and Luke Belter.
The defense was led again by Devin Scripture and Trey Heidlage who both scored defensive touchdowns. Also playing well defensively were Seth King, Devin Meeks and Adam Bedel.
This was third shutout in a row for the 8th grade Bulldogs.
