The Batesville boy’s tennis team made it to the finals in all five spots in the EIAC Individaul Tournament on Saturday.
#1 Singles- Jason Bosse (EC) def. Beau Brown (BV) 6-0, 6-3
#2 Singles- David Lawrence (GB) def. Ben Schwettman (BV) 6-1, 7-5
#3 Singles- Spencer Rose (BV) def. Trevor Murray (FC) 6-2, 6-1
#1 Doubles- Harsh Patel/Paul Ritter (BV) def. Keegan McCullough/Nathan Emsweller (GB) 6-0, 6-4
#2 Doubles- Will Harmeyer/Jon Kunkel (BV) def. Trevor Foster/Logan Smith (GB) 6-1, 6-4
Of the eight all-conference selections, six were Batesville Bulldogs. Those were Beau Brown, Spencer Rose, Harsh Patel, Paul Ritter, Jonathan Kunkel, and Will Harmeyer.
Batesville will play at Shelbyville on Monday and begin the sectional at South Dearborn on Wednesday.
