The Batesville Freshman team won 20-8 over South Decatur.

First score came on an 32 yard Touchdown pass form Trey Heidlage to Danny Aylor in the first quarter. (2 pt was no good).  Heidlage scored again, this time on an 89 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter. (2 pt no good).  Halftime score was 12-0.

SD cut it to 12-8 in the 3Q. However, Heidlage scored one more time on a 42 yard TD run to seal the game. (Heidlage ran it in for 2pts).
Offensively, Heidlage was the offense. Luke Belter had some very good runs early in the game along with Danny Aylor who had a crucial run in the 4th quarter to get a first down.

Defensively, Devon Meeks forced and recovered a fumble. Zach Jones had some great plays at Outside Linebacker. Alex Love also did a great job at defensive tackle for the Bulldogs.

Batesville will be in action on September 9th @ South Dearborn.
