Bulldogs vs. Lawrenceburg Baseball (4-28)

An impressive two-way performance from Bryan Hoeing led the Bulldogs to a 2-1 win Tuesday over Lawrenceburg, as Hoeing came up huge at the dish and on the mound.

Hoeing went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Bulldogs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Hoeing kept contact to a minimum, striking out 12 Lawrenceburg batters. Hoeing allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over 4 2/3 innings.

Jordan Houze ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed two runs.

Bulldogs closer Connor Schuck put away the final seven outs to record the save.

Lawrenceburg managed to score one run in the third inning on an RBI single by Logan Scutter.

The Bulldogs never trailed after scoring two runs in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Wyatt Schebler.

The Bulldogs are 4-5 on the season and our next game is against Milan on Thursday (4-30).
