The Batesville Boy’s Varsity Tennis team defeated Franklin County 5-0 on Tuesday. The varsity is now 8-0 on the season and 6-0 in the EIAC.
#1 Singles- Beau Brown defeated Garrett Crowe 6-0, 6-0
#2 Singles- Blake Walsman defeated Trevin Mandershied 6-0, 6-2
#3 Singles- Ben Schwettman defeated Landon Bundy 6-0, 6-0
#1 Doubles- Matthew Taylor and Spencer Rose defeated Tyler Calihan and John Oetzel 6-1, 6-3
#2 Doubles- Paul Ritter and Harsh Patel defeated Adam Gabbard and Trevor Murray 6-0, 6-0
In JV action, Batesville won 3-1. Jonathan Kunkel and Brandon Laker won in singles, while the doubles team of Will Harmeyer and Sam Esser were also victorious.
Batesville will play at Columbus East on Thursday at 5:00 PM
