Bulldogs Boyc CC Team Place 1st At Greensburg

Cross CountryThe Batesville Boys Cross Country Team ended their regular season with a victory Thursday night in Greensburg at their annual invite. In a close race the boys beat Oldenburg Academy by 1 point, ending the contest 68 to 69. Coming in third was Jennings County with 80 points.

Scoring for Batesville in 6th place overall was Caleb Moster, followed by Connor Bell who was 7th overall. Next came Cole Nuhring in 8th overall and Chris Riffle who was 14th overall. Rounding out the scoring for Batesville was Garrett Yorn who came in 33rd overall. Also running varsity were Elliot Main with a 41st place finish and Calvin Lehman who was 45th.

In the Reserve race, Clay Yeaton came in first place while setting a new PR of 18:47. He was followed by Jackson Wooldridge who was third in the reserve race with a time of 20:26. Also competing in the reserve race was Alex Batta, who is coming back from an injury, with a time of 21:20.

The boys will race again next Tuesday to battle for the conference championship.
