The Batesville Varsity Tennis Team defeated East Central 3-2 on Thursday to advance to the Sectional Championship match.
#1 Singles- Beau Brown was defeated by Jason Bosse 3-6, 3-6
#2 Singles- Blake Walsman defeated Nathan McCann 7-5, 6-2
#3 Singles- Ben Schwettman was defeated by James Brand 4-6, 4-6
#1 Doubles- Matthew Taylor and Spencer Rose defeated Braedon Wittich and Matt Kuebel 6-0, 6-0
#2 Doubles- Paul Ritter and Harsh Patel defeated Phil Stenger and Connor Paul 6-0, 6-4
In the other semi-final match, Oldenburg Academy defeated South Dearborn 3-2. Batesville and Oldenburg will play for the sectional championship on Saturday at 10 AM at South Dearborn High School.
