Bulldogs 1st In Divison Of East Central CC Invite

Cross CountryThe Batesville Boy’s Cross Country Team traveled to East Central High School Tuesday night for the East Central Invite. The boys competed in the division II competion.

In this division 5 schools competed. Batesville came away victiorious with a score of 32 points. Following Batesville in the scoring was Greensburg with 32 points, Jac Cen Den with 63 points, South Ripley with 76 points and Lawrenceburg with 137 points.

Leading for the Bulldogs, once again, was Caleb Moster who was first overall with a time of 17:36. Following Caleb and coming in second overalll was Cole Nuhring with a time of 17:42. Behind him was Connor Bell, coming in fifth overall with a time of 18:01. Fourth for Batesville and twentieth overall was Chris Riffle with a time of 19:25 and fifth, twenty-fifth overall was Calvin Lehman with a time of 19:35. The sixth and seventh Batesville spots went to Clay Yeaton, thirtieth overall, with a time of 19:48 and Garrett Yorn, forty forth overall, with a time of 20:55.

There was also an open reserve race which had one Batesville boys runner. Elliot Main lead the race from start to finish with a time of 19:52.

Congratulations to the boys for another victory.

They will be competing again next Tuesday at Jennings County.
