The Batesville High school wrestling team hosted Knightstown for the last dual meet of the season.
The night also included Senior Night for our lone Senior John Moody. Moody represented the bulldogs well and was able to end his final match at home with a win earing the Bulldogs six team points. Moody opened his match with three nicely executed takedowns before pinning his opponent in the 2nd period. As captain of the team, John has had a great season so far. We are looking forward to a great end for John as he competes in the EIAC and Sectionals in the coming days.
Michael Deal also put six points on the board by pinning his opponent in the first period. As a team The Bulldogs lost 66-12 but had great efforts from the remainder of the team.
