Bryan Edward Monroe, age 44, of Brookville, Indiana died suddenly, Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his residence.
Born December 16, 1969 in Batesville, Indiana he was the son of Keith & Wanda (Schmid) Monroe.
He was employed at General Electric in Batesville, Indiana and had also farmed in Franklin County. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed farming, hunting, and bee keeping, as well as baling hay. His greatest joy in life however was his family, and he cherished time spent with his sons.
Survivors include his companion, Nanette Beres of Brookville; four sons, Ethan Monroe, Frank Monroe, Charlie Monroe and Jake Monroe all of Brookville, Indiana; his parents, Keith and Wanda Monroe of Brookville; his maternal grandmother, Martha Schmid of Brookville; one sister, Bernice (Bruce) Meyer of Rushville, Indiana, a brother, Tom (Amy) Monroe of Brookville, Indiana; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, as well as a niece, Allie Meyer.
Family & friends may visit from 4 till 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Rev. Curtis Bond will officiate the Funeral Services at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
