Brandon Tyler Cromer

cromerBrandon Tyler Cromer, 17, of Aurora, IN, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016.

He was born Monday, July 27, 1998 in Fairfield, Ohio, Son of Roger Cromer and Aimee Hooten Cromer.

Brandon attended Manchester Elementary School and was a junior at SDHS. He was on the South Dearborn Tennis team, which he excelled at, he was also on the basketball team from 5th grade to 10th grade. He was a class representative for Student Government, a Star Mentor and was active in helping with “Think Smart Stay Safe”. He was a straight A student and a member of the National Honor Society. Brandon also tutored for the National Honor Society and was working toward an Academic Honor Diploma. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, eating at McDonalds, playing the Play Station 4 with his friends. He was also a big IU fan. Brandon was the apple of his mother’s eye and he loved fixing up “old blue” (jeep) with his dad. He loved being the best big brother to his sister, Brooklyn and spending time with his #1 fans, papa and mama, cutting wood and working on the farm. Brandon had a big heart and always wanted to help others, even upon his death he was an organ donor and was able to help many people.

Surviving are his parents, Roger & Aimee Cromer of Manchester, IN; paternal grandparents, Roger & Kathy Cromer of Manchester, IN; maternal grandparents, Rick & Rose Hooten of Osgood, IN, Peggy (late Pat) Crawford of Jacksonville, FL; great grandparents, Glenn & Carol Schwanholt of Versailles, IN, Merlyn & Gloria Hooten of Alabaster, AL; Sister, Brooklyn Cromer; half sister, Shanna Vestal; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received Friday, February 26, 2016 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, 6060 Blair Rd. Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at 2: 00 pm at the Church, with Minister Teto Pel, Pastor Brian Dunaway and Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
