Oh, how things change in a week.

Former Bengals OC Jay Gruden was finalizing an offensive strategy against the San Diego Chargers last Friday.  He is now in the market for a home in or around our nations capital.

Gruden was introduced as the head coach of the Washington Redskins on Thursday.

He’s tabbed to replace Mike Shanahan, who was fired a day after the season ended. Gruden becomes the sixth head coach hired by scrutinized Redskins owner Dan Snyder.

For Gruden, the scenery is different and so is the quarterback situation. Fans wear Andy Dalton #14 jerseys throughout Southeastern Indiana.

People talk about RG3 everywhere.

Sometimes, Kirk Cousins too.

Sources say Gruden received a five year deal with the Redskins. He is the younger brother of former NFL coach and ESPN analyst John Gruden.

The Bengals named running backs coach Hue Jackson as offensive coordinator Thursday. Head Coach Marvin Lewis said in a press release, “Hue’s expertise in all aspects of football and coaching is very wide.”

More changes could be on the horizon for the Bengals. Keep it tuned to WRBI for Bengals news.
