The Batesville Boy’s Varsity Tennis team was tied 2-2 with Centerville on Tuesday when rain suspended the match.
#1 Singles- Beau Brown was defeated by Brady Wagenknecht 5-7, 0-6
#2 Singles- Blake Walsman defeated Justyn North 6-0, 6-2
#3 Singles- Paul Ritter was defeated by Nolan Witte 1-6, 2-6
#1 Doubles- Matthew Taylor and Harsh Patel was tied with Skyler Benedict and Craig Lair 7-6 (6), 1-6, 0-0
#2 Doubles- Ben Schwettman and Spencer Rose defeated Nathan Cheek and Blake Shook 6-2, 6-1
In JV action, Batesville defeated Centerville 2-0. Jonathan Kunkel won 8-4 and Brandon Laker won 8-2.
The Varsity is now 3-0-1 and the JV is 4-0. The Bulldogs will play at East Central on Tuesday 9/2 at 4:00 PM.
