Although an opening date has not been announced, Batesville will soon have another option for carryout and delivery pizza.
Pizza Hut is set to open its doors at 1040 State Road 229, which is located in the Kroger Shopping Center.
A decision will be made Tuesday whether the business will have a temporary occupancy or permanent, according to Batesville Building Commissioner Tim Macyauski.
The number of new jobs it will bring to Batesville has not been determined, but there are currently six open positions for the new location on the Pizza Hut website. View the jobs here.
The restaurant will be specifically for delivery and carryout service.
