April 1st    2014-2015 All-Sport Tickets go on sale.  Student-athletes presently in grades 9ñ11 will be selling these as our spring fundraiser.  Tickets will also be available at the Batesville High School and Middle School athletic offices.

April 9th     Attention Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11:
IHSAA Sports Physicals for the 2014-2015 school year, sponsored by MMCH, will be Wednesday, April 9 at the Hansen Center for only $20.  Only cash and/or checks accepted.  Time: 5:00 ñ 7:00 p.m.  Please have pages 1 and 4 of the physical completed.  This will be for students presently in grades 8 through 11.  MMCH donates the money back to our athletic department to sponsor our Athletic Trainer so we encourage everyone to take advantage of this win/win event.  The I.H.S.A.A. now requires physicals to be on file BEFORE summer conditioning / open facility / camp participation.  THIS IS A MUST!  If you have a conflict on this date, try to attend on Wednesday, April 23rd.

April 16th    All-Sport Ticketsí student-athlete sale ends.  All-Sport tickets will remain available for purchase at the high school and middle school athletic offices through the 2014-2015 Winter season.

June 30th ñ July 6th        IHSAA Moratorium Week ñ NO student-athlete / coach contact.

July 28th ñ August 2nd    Conditioning only.  NO open facility.  Exception is Girls Golf.

August 1st             High School Girls Golf practice begins.

August 4th            First practice for high school:  Boys & Girls Cross Country,
Football, Boys & Girls Soccer, Boys Tennis, and Volleyball.

Note – A completed physical and an IDOE Concussion Acknowledgement form with all signatures and insurance information must be on file before an individual may participate in summer conditioning, open facilities and/or summer camps.  An individual must have ten (10) separate days of practice before being eligible to participate in a game.  Therefore it is imperative that paperwork is completed as soon as possible, and that is possible by attending the MMCH sponsored physicals on dates provided.

Early registration Discount $5.00 per registration if completed IN JANUARY The spring/summer season will run from April 25th through July 2nd. All games will be through the week excluding April 25th to avoid conflict with spring soccer You can also register in person at the Batesville firehouse. The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3183 is sponsoring an art contest for students in grades 9-12. The contest is a great way to earn money for college. The art must be on paper or canvas and have a patriotic theme. Digital Art is not accepted. The art must be original. Judging is based on originality, presentation, and patriotism expressed. There are monetary awards given locally and at the state level. The national winners will receive scholarships. Home schooled students are eligible, foreign exchange are not. Your entry must be signed by a teacher. You can obtain an entry form by calling Kay Pulskamp, chairperson at 934-3442. Please submit your art by March 31, 2015. The first place winner will be sent to the State Scholarships Chairman for judging. Your art will be returned to you after judging is complete.
