Batesville 7th Graders defeated The South Decatur Cougars 38-20.
BMS raced out to a 27-8 half time lead and never looked back.
Trey Heidlage led the team with 17 points while Lane Oesterling had 8. 6 other players added two points to get the Bulldogs to 38 and 3-0 on the year.
They will be in action on Monday night against the Brookville Greyhounds at home.

The Batesville 8th grade boys beat South Decatur 53-24 last night.
It was a total team effort that got the victory.
1Q – 17-2. 2Q – 24-9. 3Q – 36-18.
Isaac Barker led the team with 19 points, followed by Tristian Lamppert with 10, Lane Westerfeld 8, Justin Puente 6, Jayden Beal with 5.
The team made 6 out of 8 free throw attempts.
Logan Shafer was the top scorer for South Decatur with 8 points.
