Batesville 7th grade basketball team beat a very good Sunman-Dearborn team 41-38.
The team ran their record to 7-2 on the year.
Trey Heidlage led the team with 13 points followed by Lane Oesterling with 10, Sam Haskamp 6, and Cooper Williams and Alex Westerfeld with 4. Heidlage also had 8 assists , 4 deflections and 2 steals. Sam Haskamp led the team with 7 rebounds while Williams and Luke Belter added 5 and 4 respectively.
BMS will be in action next Tuesday night at South Dearborn.

The Batesville 8th grade was defeated by a tall, athletic Sunman-Dearborn team 47-28.
1Q. 15-4 SD; 2Q. 28-14 SD; 3Q. 44-19 SD.
Isaac Barker had (3) 3-pointers for 9 points. Luke Schroeder had a nice game off the bench for 6 points and Joe Bohman had 4 points.
BMS is now 3-6 on the season.
