BATESVILLE, Ind. – A few Batesville firefighters spent Wednesday morning setting up lights on the Christmas tree at the Memorial Building.
The tree was put up Tuesday and the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration will be held Thursday, December 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The City has launched the first “Deck Your House, Holiday House Decorating Contest.” The competition allows residents to submit their exterior home decorations and donate to the food pantry.
The contest was created by Batesville third grader Ryan Stauffer.
