Batesville water and gas consumers can now pay bills online.

Customers in Batesville can now pay their water and gas bill online.

The city has launched online bill pay, allowing consumers to view or pay their bills through the city website.

Click “view or pay your bill online” on the left side of the home screen. The software gives residents the opportunity to pay their bills around the clock.

The Batesville Water and Gas Utility provides water to the Batesville area, and natural gas service to Batesville and Oldenburg.

Family members, caregivers and others interested in Alzheimer’s Disease and/or a related dementia are invited to attend a care and support workshop on Saturdays, July 23 & 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Margaret Mary Hospital’s Auditorium in Batesville. The workshop, What Families Need to Know…When the Diagnosis is Alzheimer’s Disease or a Related Dementia, is being offered by the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.  Topics include the various types of diagnoses; stages and treatments of dementia; strategies to cope with daily challenges such as communication and behaviors; information about legal and financial planning including Advance Directives; and identifying community services such as respite and long-term care. Scheduled speakers and their topics are: July 23:  Dr. Kelly Napier, Clinical Psychologist for Dearborn Co. VA, “The Nature and Progression of the Disease;” and Kristin Cooley, Clinical Social Worker for the Cincinnati Alzheimer’s Association, “Changes in Communication and Behavior.” July 30:  Adrienne Flannery, Elder Law Attorney for Zerbe Garner Blondell & Weldon, LLP, Attorneys-at-Law in Lawrenceburg, “Legal Planning for Families”; and Kristin Cooley, Clinical Social Worker for the Cincinnati Alzheimer’s Association, “Family Coping Strategies and Community Resources.” The program is free of charge and open to the public. [...]
