Batesville company catches the ‘Fidget Spinner’ wave

Batesville, Ind. — Tim Weberding Woodworking in Batesville is producing Fidget Spinners. Fidget Spinners look like the three-headed electric razor but nothing to do with shaving.

The toys are very popular with kids across the nation, but some experts believe the devices have medical benefits. Although the claims are scientifically substantiated, some say the devices help people with ADHD, PTSD and ease stress.

The spinners have three blades attached to a center core, when the core is squeezed the blades spin. The addictive toy is one of the leading toy fads of 2017

The toys cost about $10 and can be ordered by calling 812-934-3710. Tim Weberding Woodworking employs 10 people in Batesville and they also have a location in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
