Barbara Ellen (Fallis) Mann-Lewis

Mrs. Barbara Ellen (Fallis) Mann-Lewis, age 73, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on November 15, 1940, in Addyston, Ohio, the daughter of the late, Frank Sparrow & Alma Adeline (Grim) Fallis. She was raised in Addyston, Ohio, where she attended school. Barbara was united in marriage to the late, Charles Mann. Barbara was later united in marriage on August 24, 1978, in Vevay, Indiana, to the late, Arthur Lewis. Barbara & Arthur shared 29 years of marriage together until his death on December 5, 2007. Barbara resided the past 35 years in Vevay, Indiana. She was a member of the Fredonia Baptist Church. Barbara will be remembered for her love of being a wonderful homemaker, sewing & her love for animals. Barbara died at 6:46 pm, Thursday, January 16, 2014, at her residence in Vevay, Indiana.

Barbara will be missed by her companion: Harry N. Brown of Vevay, IN; her son: John Mann of Ocoee, FL; her daughter: Debbie Mann of Eustis, FL; her 9-grandchildren; her several great-grandchildren; her sister: Sharon Fallis of Versailles, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank Sparrow & Alma Adeline (Grim) Fallis; her 1st husband: Charles Mann, died 11-21-1977;  her 2nd husband: Arthur Lewis, died 12-5-2007; her son: James Mann; her brother: Gary Fallis.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 20, 2014, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Wayne Daugherty, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.  Interment will follow in the Fredonia Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.

All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in some states), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. JENNINGS COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY Achieving Net-Zero energy goal Jennings County Public Library is located on North State Road 3 in North Vernon, IN.  The library is open from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  Closed Sunday.
