Arthur “Buddy” Reynolds

Arthur D. Reynolds, Jr., age 73, of Peppertown, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013.

 

He was born November 28, 1940 in Peppertown, the son of Arthur D. Sr. and Margaret (Nee Ruble) Reynolds.  Arthur married Virgia Seals of Oak Forest on September 26, 1959 and she survives.  He was a maintenance welder for Batesville Tool and Die, a farmer and a mason.  He was a member of the Batesville Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, farming, and woodworking.

 

Arthur is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virgia Reynolds of Peppertown; sons, Aaron Reynolds of Peppertown, Daron (Kelle) Reynolds of Laramie, Wyoming, and David (Kris) Reynolds of Hamburg; two grandchildren, Kathleen and Kyle Reynolds; sister, Carole Jean Merkel of Dayton, Ohio.  He is also survived and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Constance Obermeyer of Kissimme, Florida, and half-sister, Thelma Stacy of Peppertown.

 

Visitation for friends and family will be Monday, December 9, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Services, officiated by Rev. Charles Flory begin at 12 noon.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville.
