vandyke-anitaAnita M. VanDyke, 79, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg.
Born February 6, 1937 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Raymond F. and Edith M. (Young) Hardebeck, Sr.
She had worked at the Carol Cook Dress Factory for several years, then she worked at the New Point Truck Stop, and then delivered newspapers for the Greensburg Daily News.
She was married to James K. “Kenny” VanDyke on August 21, 1961 and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2010.
She is survived by three sons, Richard (Susie) VanDyke, Greensburg, David VanDyke, London, KY, Brian VanDyke, London, KY; one daughter, Vicky (Danny) Baker, London, KY; one brother, Ronnie (Sandra) Hardebeck, Madisonville, KY; one sister, Karen (Bill) Thomas, New Castle; eight grandchildren, Amy, Krista, Richard, Chastity, Alan, Daniel, Alisha, Jonie; nineteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one brother, Raymond “Junie”; three sisters, Rosie, Patty, and Judy; two great grandchildren, Tyler and Dewey.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
