Ance Wagers, age 64, of Brookville, Indiana died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Fayette Regional Health System in Connersville, Indiana.

 

Born December 9, 1949 in Hamilton, Ohio he was the son of the late William C. & Myrtle (Hoskins) Wagers.  On April 6, 1969 he was united in marriage to Edith Strong, and she survives.

 

He was employed at Square D/Schneider Electric in Oxford, Ohio for many years.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

 

Besides Edith, his wife of over 44 years, survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, Anthony & Jackie Wagers of Cedar Grove, Indiana and Raymond & Stacy Wagers of Blooming Grove, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Beth Ann Marie Wagers, Carly Elizabeth Wagers, Wyatt Owen Wagers, Damien Otto, Jordan Roberts, Hunter George and Austin George; three sisters, Julie Steele of Andersonville, Indiana, Tina Wagers and Dorothy Strong both of Hamilton, Ohio; four brothers, Sam Wagers of Texas, Robbie Wagers of Kentucky, Jimmy Wagers of Clarksville, Indiana and Joe Wagers of Rushville, Indiana.

 

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Donald Wagers, two sisters; Faye Wagers and Emily Kodele; and a brother, Billy Wagers.

 

Rev. Andy Zinsmeister will officiate the Memorial Services on Saturday, December 21, 2013, 12:00 Noon, at the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.

 

Family & friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the services at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, 4011 State Road 252, Mt. Carmel, Indiana.

Please clean out your unwanted, gently worn, used shoes and donate them. Efforts to help ensure a sufficient blood supply for patients during the holiday season are underway. Patients don’t get a holiday from needing donated blood! How to donate blood Simply download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in some states), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.   Places to donate: redcross
