Alberta A. Campbell, 79, of Aurora, passed away on August 20, 2016 at the Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN.
She was born on October 11, 1936 to the late James and Hazel (Armstrong) Sellers at Aurora, IN. Alberta worked as a Unit Clerk for Dearborn County Hospital, retiring after over 35 years of service. She was a member of Alliance Missionary Church. Alberta took the trip of her lifetime to Jerusalem with Women’s Aglow. It was one of the highlights of her life. Her faith was very important to her. She enjoyed gardening, especially her rose garden. She also loved flower arranging and decorating her home. Alberta loved to help people and spent her life showing others her caring nature. Her family was most important to her and she will be greatly missed.
Alberta is survived by her children, Danny Joe (Kim) Campbell of Aurora, IN; Tina (John) Sinclair of Aurora, IN, and Christy Gordon of Aurora, IN; siblings, Eddie (Patty) Sellers of Aurora, IN; and Gerri (Frank) McGinnis of Dillsboro, IN, brother-in-law; Frank (late, Teany) Cantwell, grandchildren, Matthew Campbell, Billie Jo Campbell, Mary Ann Fisher, Esther Pierce, Jimmy Campbell, David Sinclair,Samantha Sinclair, Thomas Gordon and 9 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 55 years, Gayle E Campbell, son, Michael Campbell,and sister, Teany Cantwell.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home, with Brother Kenneth Hopper officiating.
Burial will take place in the Union Cemetery, Moores Hill, IN.
