A-Rod

I am sure by now you are aware of the saga of the Yankee’s Alex Rodriquez (A-Rod) and his continuous struggle to prove or disprove his involvement with PED’s. Personally, I am like a lot of Americans and dislike the Yankees. The Yankees are so intent on qualifying for this year’s playoffs that they are willing to put their reputation on the line for someone who 90% of the people feel has cheated. Of course, only A-Rod knows for sure if he did or not. The real animosity toward A-Rod comes from his insistence that everyone is wrong and he is right. I don’t know how many fellow athletes have indicated that he has abused the policy as much as or more than any other player. Again, this is just conjecture on the part of all of us. Had he taken his suspension with the others, he might have salvaged some type of playing career beyond this year. It looks now that after his court hearing his career will be over. Ryan Braun of Milwaukee for a long time did just what A-Rod is doing now, but he suddenly changed his tune and said “I did it”. Of course, true to his nature, Braun keeps insisting that he is only partially to blame. No matter. Major League Baseball says he did it and Milwaukee is not fighting it. When will the players learn?
