The Greensburg Lady Pirates Soccer team travelled to EIAC opponent and #24 Class 2A ranked East Central and lost 8-0.
The Lady Trojans got onto the board 9 minutes into the game and added two more goals before half to cruise to a 3-0. Skilled passing, trapping and movement gave the Lady Pirates fits all night as seven different EC players scored.
McKella Lynette recorded 16 saves of shots on goal in the loss. The Lady Trojans outshot the Lady Pirates 31-2 on the evening.
The loss drops the Lady Pirates to 4-5-1 and 0-3 in EIAC play.
The JV squad lost 3-0 in their game. Emily Lowe made 9 saves and the Lady Pirates were unable to record a shot on goal.
The Lady Pirates will travel to Shelbyville Thursday evening for a 5:30PM match with the Lady Golden Bears.
